About Taraleigh Stemler
-
I want my clients to be equipped to live a happy, healthy, and productive lifestyle. I do my best work when utilizing EMDR to increase self-regulation skills and decrease anxiety & depression. I find such individual struggles have a ripple effect on relationships and work.
-
With my background in marriage & family therapy, I provide a systemic perspective on how one's mental health or lack thereof has interpersonal repercussions. Therefore, key areas like communication, boundary development, and identity formation become a focus of treatment.
-
Lastly, I address health practices that are evidence-based and are shown to positively affect one's mental wellbeing. Increasing a client's awareness of actions within their control only aid the process of building self-agency in therapy.
