About Taraleigh Stemler
I have a strong desire to work with individuals impacted by trauma. Due to my marriage and family therapy background, I bring a systemic approach to EMDR therapy, which expands the client's understanding of how such issues can impact relationships with peers, one's marriage, and family unit. With this approach, I've seen clients improve in boundary development, identity formation, and communication skills. Also, I enjoy working with couples using Emotionally-Focused Therapy to identify negative cycles fueled by emotional reactivity. Using EFT, couples feel empowered to create positive cycles in their relationship that promote emotional safety and healthy communication patterns.
