Mental health is physical health, and physical health is mental health. As a therapist working oftentimes with trauma, my goal is to help clients be:

  • Educated about the overlap of one's mental and physical health

  • Equipped with strategies they can control

  • Empowered to make lifestyle changes that lead to healing

By adopting a holistic view of mental health, I assess for signs, symptoms, and potential root causes for physical and psychological imbalances. By collaborating with other health professionals, my hope is to teach clients to create and use their lifestyle as medicine.

And that 95% of serotonin is produced in the gut, not the brain?
